Poem: Falling Asleep at Dawn

The prompt for onesingleimpression is murmur.

Falling Asleep at Dawn

the rain's soft murmur
paints faces against glass,
its own form of water
melting into the room.

Light plays against the walls
flowing down into our throats
into the center, glowing plexus

Murmurs make their way
across the air, a flow of energy
melting into light.

I am light, I am mist,
I disappear.
