Friday Shoot Out: New Moon: Dark Side of Vineland

This week’s topic comes from Nanu at http://sciencegirltraveler.blogspot.com/ She has a great blog so check it out!

When I think of the dark side of my town,  I do not necessarily think of something negative or evil.  I think of the beauty of things we don't notice much of the time; things in shadow or hidden. The dark side of beauty has something mysterious and charismatic about it.

I hope you enjoyed the dark side!

  1. Oh, I did! I did enjoy your dark side! Especially the second and the last. How did you get an old log to look so lovely?

  2. I like the first shot of the fence at night. Dark and beautiful.

  3. The dark reflection of the first photo is really good. Dark it may be, I think many young couples like to walk in the dark.

  4. I like the texture of the last photo especially. Dark doesn't have to be 'bad' at all!

  6. You are quite right, there is a definite beauty to the dark side and you've captured it well.

Just be careful it doesn't capture you! lol

  11. Super ShootOut photos. You really got the theme with the Moon Shot. And you are so right about the Darkside being a thing of beauty. I have a bit of Darkside Humor for my first Shootout. Hope you can stop by.
