Friday Shoot Out-Fireworks

Well, this past week has been full of ups and downs for me.  The best "firework" was in my heart when John asked me to marry him when we were on the beach in Sea Isle.  Unfortunately, I have no pictures to show of that because I did not bring my camera to the beach.  Then, yesterday was John and his daughter's birthday.  I was not able to give John his gift (surprise tickets to a Sting concert, the tour for the CD Symphonicities) because our cat Winston got sick.  I will probably give him the tickets today because the concert is tomorrow.

Here Winston is in healthier days.  I am so glad for people who have repeated over and over to take your pet to the vet immediately if there are changes in their normal behavior.  For two days, he was acting strange.  I took him to the vet and it turned out he was extremely anemic and needed a blood transfusion ASAP which he got last night.  They also had to run about a million tests to see what caused the anemia.  All of us cried for what might be the cause.  We are praying it is something treatable.  So prayers for Winston are appreciated!! 

For the fireworks shootout, I took some pictures of actual fireworks as well as a video.  I do not think my camera is powerful enough to really get great shots but here is my attempt:

M (John's daughter) and I went on another photo walk around the apartment complex.  I took a couple shots that I thought were reminiscent of fireworks.

John gave me flowers for my birthday which was last Friday.  Here is a close-up of one.
