Friday Shoot-Out: Smells

This week's shoot-out topic is smells suggested by Nanu.  I think it is a great idea to use one sense to evoke the other.  Above is a fresh, delicious smell.  I took this shot because I liked the way John had cut the watermelon--very geometric or something.
Who doesn't love the smell of flowers and that earthy smell of pungent soil!

I love the salty smell of the sea.  There is just something about the ocean air that is energizing and healing.
John fills the apartment with coffee smells for me.  He doesn't drink it but makes it for me every morning.  Above is pre-creamer/splenda; below is post creamer-splenda.
Hope you enjoyed!!

  1. water melon, my son's favorite fruit. I don't buy it often because it is expensive here. I think he can smell it when I buy it.

But coffee, you can smell it far far away.
