Friday Shoot-Out: Black and Orange

The FSO topic for this week is Black and Orange. At first, I had thought, "I am not going to find anything but halloween stuff!" Then, I began to look around and discovered orange and black everywhere; I also found some in my archive. This shoot-out reminds me of one of the reasons I love being a part of the FSO--you start to notice things you never really paid attention to.

Duck crossing sign near my house.

Some pretty flowers.

I took these down at Cape May when I went whale watching.  I didn't see any whales but we did see many dolphins.

I was behind a cable van on my way to work.
Some more orange and black on my way to work.
My coffee cup--a basic morning necessity.
Hope you enjoyed!

Here is an excerpt from my other blog:
In my creative expressions, I am seeking a way to capture the energy of a moment.  With photography, it may just be the way a tree curves against the sky or the way the light hits a certain object.

  1. Do you use your own cup? I do. Easier to identify, saves my the husband complaining that I use all the cups in the house.

  2. A great selection for this week's theme!

  3. I agree with your thoughts Lena. FMTSO has opened my eyes to the world around me. great shoot out!!

  4. Yes, I love the same thing about FSO. Over and over I think I'll never find something for a Friday topic, but once I start looking the opportunities are always there. Although next week's is going to be a challenge for me I think...
    Love the duck crossing!
