my ghost floats through rooms
pushing against my heels;
sifting sacred seconds.

The FSO topic this week is hot and cold. It couldn't be better timing for this time of year in my neck of the woods. These past few weeks, I feel like putting on my heater in the morning and night while putting the air on in the afternoon. I also like the idea of taking pictures of contrasting concepts. Here are my shots:
Hope you enjoyed!!
The above picture was taken right outside my apartment.
I liked the way the light hit the ice in the sink.
Or deliciously hot coffee on a cold morning?
Hope you enjoyed!!

I took the above picture at the Butterfly Pavilion in Broomfield, CO. It is really a great place to go. It is a fantastic place to practice photography.
These two pictures were from around my apartment complex.
These two were "on the road" inspirations as I was going to or coming from work. I hope you don't mind me "archiving it" this week! BTW, I have launched a new blog exploring mindfulness, so if you are interested, check it out http://findingelsewhere.blogspot.com/2010/09/unwinding.html. Have a great weekend, everyone!

This week's FSO challenge, graffiti, was suggested by GingerV. I enjoy reading Ginger's blog; she lives in a beautiful place and many of her photos are breath-taking. I highly recommend checking out her blog! When I saw that the assignment was graffiti, there was one place I knew I needed to go. While I am sure that there is probably graffiti in downtown Vineland, there is not much in the part of Vineland I live in. However, there is this one place that everytime I pass it, I am amused. This is for all your speed demons!
