through the opened window;
there will be a death,
eyes closed, colors swirl, I enter the
carnival of dreams.

Oh how nice it would be to enter the carnival of dreams, and do away with insomnia
ReplyDeleteHow wonderful a piece to be read during the night. Please have a good start of the new week.

I love how you described insomnia as floating...wonderful poem!
ReplyDeleteI liked the end line.. from carnival of dreams, you may like to visit my carnival of thoughts..
ReplyDeleteI liked how you described dreams swirling, almost seemed like they are blending into a carnival of color and ideas. Like a whirlpool drawing a person into sleep. (Stopping by from the One Single Impression roundup)
ReplyDeleteThat was last night for me, exactly. Thanks for this beautiful poem.
ReplyDeleteBeautifully written.....
ReplyDeleteEyes wide open, watch the wonderful orb till sleep drifts you to a carnival in colors.
