This week's topic from FSO is the weird and strange in our town.
This first shot is of a place I pass a lot. Apparently, it was a farmer's market but it has been in the above condition for the three years I have been driving past it. Vineland has several road side stands. Ironically, my fiance' John, who grew up in Vineland, went to school in Arizona and while there, saw a national news story about road side stands, focusing on one in Vineland about ten minutes from where he grew up!
I also pass this place a lot. I am not sure if this was meant to be like sculptural art, but that is how I see it. I call it "the door to nowhere." I'd love to know the story behind it.
For those who have visited my blog before probably have seen photographs of this house before. I love photographing it.
Some rusty pigs in my neighborhood.
Hope you were able to slow down and enjoy your visit!
A fun and interesting collection of Unusual Places and things. Rusty pigs....that's funny and very observant. I sure did slow down to do a double take at the speed limit sign! I guess we were thinking alike with the Old Buildings and Rusty Stuff. Enjoyed seeing yours. Thanks for stopping by CITexas Gal.
ReplyDeleteWonderful...love the pigs :) Hugs, Sarah
ReplyDeleteInteresting looking building! and those rusted pig must have made a wrong turn somewhere. lol
ReplyDeletecome on Sunday, and you will find a busy Farmers' market with all the tents up. LOL
ReplyDeleteI had a rusty snail wanting to be your pigs' friend. I resized the photo, and then forgot where I kept it.
rusty pigs are very unusual. I like the pic of the abandoned farmer's market.
ReplyDeleteAll so interesting. The door to nowhere seems familiar to me, as in a dream.
