Friday Shoot-Out: Nurses

The Friday Shoot Out this week is to honor nurses.  Unfortunately (or fortunately, depending on your pov!!), I have not had access to hospitals or any medical professionals in order to take photos.  So, for this shoot-out, I wanted to recognize the staff at University of Pennsylvania Veterinary Hospital who saved my cat Winston.  They are very expensive but they are worth what you pay!  The doctor was very helpful and the nursing staff were very kind.  The students studying to be vets were also quite kind.  Winston spent a week of his life there last summer.  If you want to know more, check out:

I also just noticed that in my posts about Winston, I also mention John proposing.  It is fitting because in exactly one month, we will be getting married!

Anyway, thanks to the U of Penn's Vetinary Hospital, Winston is doing well (although he does take medicine twice a day).

 Hope you enjoyed!

  1. Woo Hoo, thank goodness Winston is better. For sure vets and their staff are much needed and appreciated professionals. Blessings

  2. Now why didn't I think of our vet (who is a neighbour) and his beautiful wife who sometimes doubles as his nurse! So glad Winston recovered.

  3. Winston is very pretty and lucky to have you! congrats on the upcoming wedding also. after reading all the posts I see I could have posted about my daughter that works in a nursing home. my mind was blank on this one!!
