Tour of Vineland

It's been awhile but I am back!  It has been a hectic few months so I was not able to keep up with blogging.  Here are some pictures of Vineland.  I moved to Vineland a few years ago to be with my husband who grew up in Vineland.  To me, it is the perfect balance of country and city.  Hope you enjoy!

Here is the road I take to work.

I passed by this "door to nowhere" in Vineland all the time.  Unfortunately and for unknown reasons, it is no longer there.  I am glad I captured it on film!

Here is the little playground/park near where I live.

This sign is near Giampietro Park, near to where I live.  It is a great place to relax.  There are many duck and geese that hang out in the lake there.

One of my favorite things about Vineland is every once in awhile, I will come across a field of sunflowers.
And, of course, there are many trees in Vineland.

Hope you enjoyed the tour of some of my favorite things about my town.  Check out more or share your own tour at

  1. What a great town tour! My faces are door to nowhere and duck crossing sign! Thanks for sharing. :)

  2. I am glad you captured the door to no where before is was gone too. Love the sunflower fields!

  3. I would love to visit your town, such a serene and beautiful! that sunflowers field would definitely be my first stop, I've never seen such scenery here.

  4. Sorry to hear the door to nowhere has disappeared completely. I'd like to see the sunflower fields!

  5. One never knows when a shot taken randomly will be very important. When in NYC before 9/11 I got shots of the TT from the Empire State Building just as a matter of routine. Now I have it framed.

  6. Beautiful pictures! That door in the middle of nowhere is so picturesque--good thing you captured it before it was gone!

  7. we have many those dick crossing signs including penguins too.

  8. Wow the pictures are really good and seem to be from a memorable collection of yours...the first one is so awesome...winter drive is always pleasing to experience really..

  9. What a great place. Lovely. We need that duck-crossing sign here.
